ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING

April 17,2011

The annual General Body meeting was organized on 17-4-2011 at Sri Chaitamya Bharathi Jr. College, Chandanagar, Hyderabad. !50 members of the community participated in the annual meet. Shri Kondavalasa Lakshamana Rao and Shri.Korlam Parvati Vara Prasad (Vizag Prasad),Famous Cene- Artists graced the occasion as Chief Guests.

The program started with Vighneswara Puja performed by Shri.Sadasivuni Venkateswara Rao,Vice-President. He welcomed the Chief Guests,President,General Secretary,Treasurer and Shri E.V.V.Subrahmanyam garu,a senior citizen member to the dias.

In his Presidential address shri.D.V.Krishna Rao appealed for unity among the members of the community and support for a common cause for the welfare of the Community. He said that we are minorities compared to other communities. He cited the examples of other minority communities who stand together to achieve their goals. He informed that an All India Meet of the Community will be Organized during the year by inviting Relatives from all the corners of the Country and concerned State Ministers. Srhi DVK Rao introduced the Executive Body members to the Relatives

Shri Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, in his address appealed for Unity among the community and informed that he will attend all the programs of the community. He appealed to members to donate liberally to make the association financially sound to organize programs like All India Meet. He also emphasized the need to strengthen Vivaha Vedika so that more people from the community get benefits. We should help the poorer sections of the community by providing Books, Clothing etc.,He also requested the Association to work for the inclusion of our community in the OBC list of Govt. of India.

In his address Shri.K.P.V.Prasad appealed to suffix Patnaik with the names to get recognition of the Community. He informed that unity among the community can be enhanced through such Meets and better understanding among the members. Discussing on the intellectual capabilities of the community, he cited examples of Epics like Ramayana. He also appealed every member to support for the common cause-WELFARE.

Shri A.R.K. Rao,General Secretary read out the Annual report and informed the achievements during the past one year. He told that 60 recommendation letters were given to members for inclusion in the BC Community and get Certificates from the Revenue dept.He informed that an All India Meet will be organized. He also informed that collection of demographic data and Extending Financial Support to poor students as the agenda for the current year.

In his address Shri Subrahmanyam informed that they have an Association way back from 1965 and did many activities in BHEL.He complemented the Executive Body for their unending work for the welfare of the community. He appealed to conduct meets at various places of the zone and bring out a booklet containing the data of the Members.

The meet was opened for discussions.

Shri Dabbiru Bharat Kumar,ILS, appealed for strengthening the Associals and requested members not to damage the unity by bad propaganda.He informed that inclusion of our community in OBC will enhance the job opportunities by way of Central Government recruitments. He also appealed the parents to guide their children to go for Civil Services. He requested the members to donate liberally to strengthen the association.

Shri Singumahanty Jagannadha Rao, Retired Tahasildar informed to for get ego and work for the unity among the community.He appealed to donate for the Association.

In General every one felt the need to help each other by organizing such meets and discussing the issues like employment problems. The addresses of eminent persons for providing employment was given to the members.

The program ended with vote of thanks by Shri S.V.Rao,Vice President.

ANNUAL DAY MEET

The SWA-KKP Annual day meet will be held onSunday,17-4-2011 instead of 3-4-2011. The Executive committee hereby invite all the members to participate and make the program successful.

The venue is at Sri Chaitanya Bharathi Jr. Collage, Chandanagar. The time is at 10 AM. The meet will follow with LUNCH.

ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION

Dear Members

All the Members are hereby informed that Annual Day Function of SISTAKARANAMS WELFARE ASSOCIATION, KUKKATPALLY ZONE will be Organized on 3rd April,2011 from 10.AM onwards at Sri Chaitanya Bharathi Jr. College, Chandanagar,Hyderabad-50, to mark the completion of ONE YEAR of the Association.

A VIVAHA VEDIKA also will be organized on the Occasion.
