    Actually the community of Patnaiks called as Sistakaranams who are migrated from Orissa to Andhra duing the region of KINGDOMS .They were settled in Srikakulam, Viakhapatnam and Viziaagaram Districts i.e Border of Orrissa ,and worked as various posts at ZAMINDARS AND IN KINGDOMS AS ADVISORS,FOREST OFFICRS,MILATRY OFFICERS AND GURUS later they scatered to the Districts for their lively hood.And their name Patnaik was changed as Karanalu,Sistakaranalu,patnaidu or patnaik
    in Srikaklam,Visakhaatnam and Vizianagaram they called as Sistakaranam,In E,G W.G they called as Karnalu,In Salur they were called as Patnaidu etc. In Orrissa the caste is Dominated either in Politics or in Education.In Anhrapradesh they are Minority.
    The community includd in B.C as the community is Minority in A.P

    Dear Members,
    The Executive committee and some of the Association Members met on 15-8-2010 at at sri Chaitanya Bharati Jr.College,Chandanagar and discussed on various issues relating to our community.
    The Association here by appeal all community members to pay the current annual subscription. Executive members of a particular area will visit you soon.
    It was also decided to organize KARTIKA VANABHOJANAM at BHEL Nursery.

    hello every one,

    i am very happy n great-full to find our online association. it would be my pleasure to send this link to all my cousins. i have a query, is our caste included in OBC as well if not I would like to know how long will it take to get updated even in the central OBC category. and also i would like to know weather there any measures been taken to put pressure in the center level to include it in OBC List ?

      Our caste is taken into BC list by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Inclusion in OBC is under Govt of India. Sincere efforts are being made by all the community associations for inclusion in Central list

    my name venum prabhu i am belong to sistakaranam caste and i am preparing for competative exams i go to mee seva for my caste certificate renew they told that your caste not show in mee seva site so please help me sir its my life and death situation.
